How I Benefited from Content: BELAY Client Stories

The idea of content helping organizations block and tackle on business goals might not seem directly correlated in the minds of some people. After all, how can mere words help move a product, get leads to sign up for a service or re-engage lapsed buyers of whatever you’re selling?

Well, a lot. And we recently checked in with some previous clients who’ve used BELAY’s copywriting services to learn more.

How have you benefited from content?

Dayne Topkin

Content Strategist, ChurchCommunityBuilder.com

BELAY: Do you have an internal marketing / communications staff?

Topkin: Yes.

BELAY: What made you realize you needed contract-based marketing help?

Topkin: Our brand team used BELAY to help us stay on top of our content. With content being such a key metric, it’s hard for a small team to generate as much content as we would like. Basically, we brainstormed our content vision – what we needed it to be. With BELAY, we went through a process to decide on themes, due dates and blog posts that fit with the audience our and needs at the time.

BELAY: What have been some of the benefits?

Topkin: It freed up a massive amount of time. Content creation was one less thing I had to focus on. Instead, I could concentrate on strategy, ebooks, SEO, advertising and campaigns. I no longer had to worry about the professionalism or quality of the content.

Ryan Shelley

Founder and Chief Growth Officer, Shelley Media Arts LLC

BELAY: Do you have marketing / communications employees?

Shelley: Yes

BELAY: Why did you engage BELAY for your content needs?

Shelley: As a marketing agency, content is at the core of what we do. There are a number of options online to get content, but much of it can be low quality and finding the right writer for the client can be very time consuming. We aren’t your average agency looking to just push content. We want to deliver targeted and personalized content that resonates with our clients and their audience. BELAY helped us find a qualified writer who could produce the high-quality content we were looking for.

BELAY: What have been some of the benefits?

Shelley: Our content team no longer has to spend extra time editing and tweaking low-quality content. Plus, we can deliver quality on time and more targeted than ever.
